Sweet BBQ Pork Kebabs

with Cucumber Yoghurt

1 packet Heartland NZ sweet BBQ pork kebabs

  • 4 large pita pockets
  • Iceberg lettuce
  • BBQ sauce
  • Chilli sauce
  • Yoghurt
  • 1 cup unsweetened yoghurt
  • ½ cucumber, finely diced
  • Juice and zest of 1 lemon
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp parsley, chopped
  • 1 tbsp mint, chopped


  1. In a bowl, combine all of the yoghurt ingredients together and set aside.
  2. In a hot pan, fry or grill the BBQ pork kebabs until cooked – about 6 minutes.
  3. Rub pita pockets with a little olive oil and heat in a separate pan over high heat.
  4. To serve, pull pork from the kebab sticks and place inside each pita pocket. Add lettuce, and drizzle with cucumber yoghurt, chilli sauce and BBQ sauce.
